Any web development company in Faridabad will tell you its sites are "fully responsive". The only way to know is to test them on real devices, the way your customers will see them. Here is how we do it.
Why a laptop preview is not enough
Browser tools that pretend to be a phone are useful, but they miss real-world problems: a cheap Android phone that renders fonts differently, a slow mobile connection, a keyboard that covers the form you are typing into, a button too small for a thumb.
What we test on
A row of real devices, like the one in this photo: older and newer Android phones, an iPhone, a tablet and a laptop. Mid-range Android matters most, because that is what most of our clients' customers use.
What we check on each
Layout
Nothing overflows the screen, text is readable without zooming, images are not stretched, and the menu opens and closes properly.
Speed on mobile data
We switch off Wi-Fi and load the main pages on mobile data. The first screen should appear quickly, and the page should not jump around while it loads.
Every button and form
Call buttons dial, WhatsApp opens with the right number, forms submit and show a confirmation. Payment pages are tested with real test transactions.
Keyboard and accessibility
The site can be used with a keyboard, focus is visible, and images have proper descriptions for screen readers.
What happens when something fails
It gets fixed before launch, and then the whole list runs again. That is why our timelines include a testing week rather than going live the day the design is approved. More on how we build in our website development guide.
